Many legends surround the origins of nougat, in Italy it dates back to the early 15th century, however it's thought that the earliest recipe was written in the 10th century in the Middle East! Nevertheless, still a standout classic today, we've created our Torrone flavour paste using chunks of sticky, crunchy delicious almond nougat. With a light meringue flavour and roasted almond notes throughout the paste is nicely contrasted with the texture of the nougat pieces.
